Elysée is a historical reproduction of a service first created in 1832 for Louis Philipe 1st, to be used in the King's Palace, then the Tuileries. Lavishly adorned with a gold palm frond motif and accented by an inviting powder blue background, the Elysée collection continues to be a pattern which exemplifies everlasting elegance. This porcelain may appear delicate, but it is in fact the hardest wearing of all ceramic dinnerware since it is fired at such a high temperature. Dishwasher safe when using the "fine china" or air-dry setting, and a nonabrasive, non-citrus gel. This collection is not microwavable.
